Keep the Color Coming! Best Perennials for a Summer-Long Bloom
After our cold and colorless winters, the arrival of spring can feel like Dorothy’s step into Oz. Stunning displays of tulips, daffodils, and crocuses are nature’s way of saying, “We made it!” But, as quickly as the colors arrive, they can fade. By mid-summer, those vibrant hues are often just a memory. However, with the proper selection of perennial plants and flowers, you can keep your garden’s color canvas vibrant well into the season.

From Our Clients
"Buhrman Design Group refreshed all of the spoftscaping around our house. We greatly enjoyed the process from initial consult and design all the way through to completion. Marion came up with an exciting design concept that are looking forward to enjoying even more next spring. Marion and Kara were easy to work with and responsive to any requests we had. The installation crew was also phenomenal and left the site clean each day."
"We are looking forward to working with Buhrman Design Group on any future needs and would highly recommend them."
"A thoughtful landscape design is a piece of living art that can transform a home. While building our new house, we started working with Marion at Buhrman Design Group early on in the process and we couldn't be happier with the experience. We had some specific ideas in mind and Marion took our vision and enhanced it to create a beautiful design that stayed within our budget. In addition to a detailed plan, BDG provided a 3D video rendering of our fully landscaped home so we could see exactly what it would look like. The BDG crew did an excellent job with the installation and we have received many compliments from friends and neighbors. We look forward to working with BDG to continue maintaining and enhancing our beautiful landscaping."
“From start to finish we can't say enough good things about Buhrman Design Group. We did a major landscaping redesign on our entire yard as well as new landscaping around our new pool area. We are so thankful that we chose Buhrman for this major landscaping project because of the wonderful staff and crew. Marion is fabulous regarding overall landscaping design, vision and plant knowledge. He's always on time and extremely responsive whenever a question arose in the planning and implementation process. Rod and his maintenance/installation crew were all top notch as well. All of the workers were kind, diligent, hard working and very clean. The maintenance crew who comes on a weekly basis do a fantastic job as well. You can't go wrong in choosing Buhrman for any of your landscaping needs.”
