About Us

Buhrman Design Group was founded by Lance Buhrman in 1997 on an idea and a loan. He was on a mission to prove that there was a better approach to landscaping and design. With that loan, he purchased a small landscape maintenance company with a small customer following, some old equipment, and a few employees. In the early years, the company focused on installing simple hardscape and planting projects and performing plant health care. The future goal was to grow the company into a full-service landscape operation.

From a staff of three working in a small holding yard with four vehicles, Buhrman Design Group has grown to a team of more than 50 professionals proudly serving more than five-hundred clients.

Today, our team is comprised of landscape architects, project managers, field staff, and customer support to ensure every client’s needs are met efficiently and with the utmost quality.
